President, Chief Engineer Albert W. Milasauskis, Jr., P.E., is responsible for supervising AWM Engineering, Inc.'s plumbing, heating, ventilating and air conditioning. He has been the Principal in Charge of design for mechanical and electrical systems involving manufacturing facilities, office buildings, educational facilities and other special use buildings. He was a consultant to the State of Maine and was instrumental in the development of the Life Cycle Analysis currently being used for all public schools and state facilities being designed in Maine. Mr. Milasauskis has been involved with asbestos, lead and indoor air quality issues for many years. Mr. Milasauskis is the Principal in Charge of Mechanical Engineering responsible for the design of integrated heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems; process pumping and piping design, including pipe supports and anchoring systems; double containment piping systems (liquid and solid) systems; material handling; thermal treatment systems (incineration); and vacuum and blower unit design. He is also the Chief Designer for central service systems (boiler house, high and low pressure steam, direct digital control of environment and system operation, hot water and chilled water systems as well as fire protection involving sprinklers, sprinkler control, etc.) Work Related Experience 1998- Present AWM Engineering, Inc. - President - In Charge of Engineering 1990- 1997 Engineered Environmental Associates (EEA) - Senior Partner - In Charge of Engineering 1980- 1997 Allied Engineering, Inc. - Partner - In Charge of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering required for Educational Facilities, Industrial and Commercial Projects, Governmental Projects. Remodeling and Retrofit Projects, and Energy Management Projects. 1970- 1980 Alonzo J. Harriman Associates, Inc. - Involved and responsible for the design of mechanical systems for over 70 projects in educational, institutional, commercial and industrial facilities. The scope of responsibilities included: Design of HVAC and process systems; Development of energy audits and budgets; Development of computer analysis of building simulation for energy usage evaluation; Development of Life Cycle Analysis; Studies of existing facilities with resulting reports dealing with current needs and project development; Cost studies and operating analysis of to total integrated building operating systems.
